Henderson Farms
OUR STORY
Henderson Farms has been in the family for over 5 generations. In the early 1900's the property was originally used for harvesting wheat crops, which then led then led to raising cattle and horses, and eventually chickens for the past 35 years. In the summer of 2010 the Overlook was built on the peak of the property overlooking a massive 500 acre wheat field and views of Johns Mountain, and beyond. The Overlook has 3 levels and seating for 70 guests.
Over the past 2 years Austin and his Father renovated the rustic open air barn and transformed it into an event space that seats over 160 people with two indoor bathrooms, loft, bar, 5 hanging antique chandeliers, and floor space for DJ and catering. In the short time since opening our doors we have hosted weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays, showers and many other special events. We pride our self on offering exceptional customer service and strive to make the day of your event as smooth and flawless as possible.
Overlook

Seating for 70 guests on a 3 level terrace with additional seating on grass hillside, which allows room for a total of 150 guests.

Sensational views of the North Georgia mountain line. The overlook sits on the highest point of the property with a 150ft drop off to the Oostanaula river below.

Custom built to have the bride and groom stand on the last level of the terrace so guests can take in the ceremony with a one of a kind view of John's Mountain and beautiful farm land.

Guests are shuttled on Golf Carts to the Overlook. The ride is normally less than 5 minutes, and winds on a smooth gravel road thru the tall pines and oaks over rolling hills. It's a tranquil experience that lets the guests enjoy the beautiful scenery and natural untouched forest.
Rustic Barn

Seating for 160+ guests, with ample room for dancing, catering, and full bar.

Great space for reception or ceremony. The Rustic open air barn has two bathrooms and space to customize dance floor and table arrangement to fit the bride and groom's needs.

We offer custom initial letters to be hung on the front of the barn to make the Bride and Grooms reception as special and intimate as possible.

Views of the 2.5 acres spring fed lake with in 200 yards of the barn. This makes up for an amazing one of a kind setting to close out the night. We offer 3, 5, and 7 minute Firework shows to send the Bride and Groom off with a bang. The fireworks are set off beside the lake to reflect off the water and allow for a one of a kind photo opportunity.
